There are a number of package tour operators who offer flights, transport to and from Heraklion airport (by air conditioned coaches) with accommodation in hotels and apartments in and around Agios Nikolaos including Cosmos, Thomsons, Grecian and Sovereign. Charter flights into Heraklion start about the end of March and run through to the end of October.

Sovereign, Unijet, Cosmos, Thomson and Grecian all offer flight only packages from Gatwick and other UK airports. Most flights are on a Tuesday. It is of course possible to fly via Athens and take advantage of the very low Easyjet, Go and Buzz fares. There is a connecting Olympic flight or the Ferry crossing from Athens to Heraklion or Agios Nikolaos.
